Hi, I’m Stéan, Food Blogger, Photographer and Foodie!

I live on a Wildlife Conservation Estate on the country side of South Africa. This is where I try out new recipes, cook up old favorites, blog about the magical things in life and grow our own fresh herbs!

Being a food photographer and passionate foodie, I, inevitably, often find myself on a culinary journey or at the very least on a quest for another exquisite bite. As such, I love sharing these encounters with delicious food, noteworthy recipes and stress-free cooking tips through my blog!

Having a food -and lifestyle blog was always a dream of mine, not least because it enables me to share with others but more importantly to allow others to share with me! Please share your cherished moments with me!

The festive season is my favorite time of the year, not least because we get to spend time together with family and friends but also because it involves togetherness around the festive table. 

To me, planning my Christmas menu is something I especially enjoy. I like to try new ideas or to simply put a spin on an old favorite. That said, I do this well in advance to ensure a stress free dinner! 

As I always mention in my intro, I like food that brings joy. Joy to my family and friends, but even more important, joy to you as cook. Even more so, I think the planning and cooking process itself should be fun and relaxing, especially this time of the year. And my Christmas recipes do just that.
