Hi, I’m Stéan, Food Blogger, Photographer and Foodie!
I live on a beautiful Wildlife Conservation Estate on the country side of South Africa. This is where I try out new recipes, cook up old favorites, blog about the magical things in life and grow our own fresh herbs!
Being a food photographer and passionate foodie, I, inevitably, often find myself on a culinary journey or at the very least on a quest for another exquisite bite. As such, I love sharing these encounters with delicious food, noteworthy recipes and stress-free cooking tips through my blog!
Ever since I can remember, photography has been an integral part of my life and it is how I look at life, but it is also how I share memorable moments, food and life’s adventures with other like-minded enthusiasts and connoisseurs!
Having a food -and lifestyle blog was always a dream of mine, not least because it enables me to share with others but more importantly to allow others to share with me! Please share your cherished moments with me!

After school, I studied Geoinformatics (GIS) at the University of Pretoria, South Africa but always knew food photography -and styling, alongside cooking, is my true passion and over the years it has evolved into a profession and one of the key aspects of Stéan Kruger Photography.
For over 10 years it has been my privilege to work closely with many clients, including universities, chefs, chairpersons, public figures, sport clubs and companies across different fields and aspects of life. Many of the recipes, styling and photography on this blog was done in close collaboration with Etihad First Class In-Flight Chef, Adri du Preez-Nel.
